Now there's nothing wrong with taking games seriously, some people make good money doing just that, but it is possible to take it far too seriously.
A part of me likes to imagine a development office in San Jose filled with the sounds of chuckling developers, content knowing that they're providing entertainment not only for those of us that play the game, but also for people who just like to laugh at people dressed like dorks.
It would be great if providing something that funny was the sole driving factor behind the development of City of Heroes, but I doubt it was
